Bareek
is one of the ace designer’s label for Men. Bareek is a New Delhi based
sustainable design label. Bareek presented their new collection called “Intergalactic
Luum” at Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2020, which is ready
to wear in nature and is a distinct sub-label which will be placed in 'Bareek
Essentials' line that focuses on menswear consisting of fabrics like organic
cotton and khadi. Bareek uses handwoven fabrics, natural dyes derived from recycled
PET bottles. It fuses Indian craft techniques with sustainable materials to
create modern wardrobe mainstays. This collection of Bareek was an amalgamation of distinct
craft elements, West Bengal’s Jamdhani and Telangana’s Ikat.
