Dhruv Kapoor Fall Winter 2020/21 Collection at Milan Fashion Week

The collection unfolds a vast list of personal treasures to bring a contemporary flavour to unconventional dressing. Inspired by spaces, in the style of Nick Olsen, the collection nods to a humorous, whimsical past. It explores an eclectic mix of antique and modern with an explosion of bold colors, patterns and grand gestures. From marble sculptures translated into hand done tie and dye techniques to patchwork of handcrafted embroideries and the clever mix of textiles, the collection encompasses multiple approaches and schools of thought, delivering a “New Traditionalist” appeal.

Starting this season, the brand collaborates with Hothur Foundation, run by Kulsum Shadab Wahab – working with acid attack survivors to develop handmade embroideries after conducting a series of workshops organized by their foundation to train these women in mastering new techniques and, pulling them to their best potential.

Overall, the silhouette remains oversized and free as each piece becomes more versatile with detachable padded linings, ensuring trans seasonal products. Multiple layers and fresh pairings give way to new age dressing, wherever and whoever you are.
